EOI DEPOSIT TERMS (PLAIN ENGLISH)

This is a fully refundable Expression of Interest (EOI) deposit. It holds your priority access to the retreat and gives you a $200 discount off the final price. You can request a refund at any time until we email the final retreat details (confirmed resort, dates, inclusions, total price, and payment plan).

From the day we send that email, you’ll have 7 days to review everything and request a full refund if it’s not right for you. After that 7-day review period ends, your deposit becomes non-refundable because we will be securing the room block and committing funds with the resort.

After final details are released, guests who wish to proceed will pay a second “confirmation deposit” so we can meet the resort’s deposit requirements and secure rooms. Full amounts and due dates will be provided before you commit.

What this is

This payment is an Expression of Interest (EOI) deposit for the Hashimoto’s Health Retreat (late August 2026). It holds your priority access and grants you a $200 AUD discount off the final price. It is not the full retreat price. If you proceed, your EOI deposit is credited toward your final balance.

Refunds (simple)

Your EOI deposit is fully refundable until we send you the final retreat details and you’ve had a short decision window to review them. 

Here’s exactly how it works:

1. Before final details are sent: you can request a full refund at any time.

2. When final details are sent: we will email you the confirmed resort, dates, inclusions, total price/pricing tiers, and the payment plan.

3. Review period: from the day we send that “final details” email, you have 7 days to request a full refund if it’s not right for you.

4. After the 7 days: your EOI deposit becomes non-refundable because we will be committing funds and inventory with the resort.

If the retreat does not go ahead

If we do not confirm the retreat by May 29th, or we decide not to proceed, your EOI deposit will be refunded in full to the original payment method.

What “confirmed” means

Confirmed means we have secured the retreat agreement and room block with the resort and we have notified EOI holders by email.

Price range

Any price range shown before final details are released is an estimate only. If the final pricing doesn’t suit you, you can request a full refund during the 7-day review period.

Payment plan and missed payments

After the retreat is confirmed, you must pay the remaining balance by the due dates in the payment plan. If payments are not made on time, your place may be cancelled and your EOI deposit may be forfeited (once it is non-refundable).

Guest cancellations after the review period

After the 7-day review period ends, cancellations will follow the retreat cancellation policy provided in the final details email. This will reflect the resort’s cancellation terms and may include non-refundable milestones.

Travel and extra expenses

Flights are not included. You are responsible for passports/visas, flights, and travel insurance (strongly recommended). Any personal expenses at the resort (extra spa treatments, mini bar, extra dining, laundry etc.) are paid by you directly to the resort.

Food requirements

This retreat is designed around a gluten-free and dairy-free food approach. By placing an EOI deposit, you acknowledge and accept this requirement.

Changes outside our control

If major changes occur due to circumstances outside our control (weather, travel disruption, resort operational changes, illness, force majeure), we will communicate as early as possible. Refund outcomes (if any) will depend on supplier terms and timing. This is why you are encouraged to take out travel insurance.
